5. This album basically encapsulates everything that was great about Arab Strap in the first place, expands on it and throws in a huge bag of new found confidence. Opening track, ‘The Shy Retirer’, is a stomping rollercoaster of a tune, lyrically dissecting club culture and musically replicating it in Arab Strap's .

7. They sound like a slightly darker version of Belle and Sebastian which is understandable given that Arab Strap are also from Scotland, and they are both playing indie pop music. Anyhow this is a live album (with great sound quality) that was recorded one night in in Glasgow.

The title of the album refers to The Hug & Pint Bar and Club.
